In The Alchemist, Coelho's message tells people that everyone has their own paths to follow, treasures to find, and people to meet. Coelho says to never stop listening to your heart, if you do, you will never achieve your destiny. Omens are always around you, but only those who feel that they can do more in life will see them. Every person has a treasure out there meant for them, but you must be willing to go after it to succeed. The Alchemist gives the feeling that no matter where you are from, or where you are going, there is something out there that is right for you. I believe that people should never just assume they have all they need, they should go after what is best for them. But Coelho also writes that those who seek their destiny for the money and treasure will never be truly happy. One's destiny is supposed to make you happy just because you took the journey, whether you become rich and famous isn't what matters. It's the journey and the knowledge gained from the journey that matters.
